For Dick Ogg, the ocean is home. He’s made a living as a fisherman for 55 years and Bodega Bay is in his bones. In 2015, The California Dungeness Crab Fishing Gear Working Group was established after an increase in whale entanglements. Faced with a changing environment, rising sea temperatures, and increased regulations, many of his fellow fishermen are leaving, but Dick has chosen to stay and continue to fight for his livelihood.
