THE GOLDMAN ENVIRONMENTAL PRIZE
The Understory’s relationship with the Goldman Environmental Prize goes back to 2016, when the Mill Valley Film Group—producers of the award-winning Goldman films—commissioned us to provide post-production support. Since then, our work has grown to include principal photography, editorial, and finishing services for the films, and we were fortunate to work with the Prize during the COVID-19 pandemic to temporarily transition the renowned ceremony from an in-person event to a fully-virtual presentation.
THE CEREMONY
For the last few years, The Understory has helped the Prize with the creation of assets for the annual ceremony. This includes the production the ceremony’s opening videos, narrated by Sigourney Weaver, filming of hosts like Jane Fonda, and other post-production support such as closed captions, credits sequences, and more.
